The puppies would not have survived if it wasn’t for the heroic actions of a Thai resident named Surachet Klaevkla.
One morning while walking to work, he heard strange sounds coming from a hole in the ground. Upon further inspection, he found five tiny puppies covered in mud and trapped in the deep well.
Without hesitation, Surachet removed the well’s grate and lowered himself inside to rescue the puppies.
Once the puppies were out of the well, Surachet took them home and spent a day cleaning and caring for them.
